Days Like This

There are many days when I think that words no longer fork any lightning, and this blog would be more useful if I simply aggregated, without commentary, news items that seem important to me. This is one of those days.

  1. .. there is never a bad reason to represent the work, of exemplars. Pics, cartoons, letters to the editor, op-eds, TED Talks, fine blogs or tweets.. whether from journalists, children or the common sense folks.. You have a well honed knack for this.. cultivate it ! !

    I enjoy, indeed thrive on the 'out of the blue' gems and opinions.. or expert info (Alishia Morton, Franke James, or any old crusty vet with something to say.. and the Indy Bloggers & tweeters of course have my attention

  2. Given the direction of things -- particularly in Ontario -- this is not a good day, Lorne. But silence can be interpreted as consent. My father used to tell me, "Don't let the bastards get you down!"

    1. You are right, of course, Owen. It just seems that the most strident and misdirected are full of "passionate intensity" these days, and their voices are the loudest in the room.
