Bhutan - A Country That Has Its Priorities Straight

Sure, you may say that Bhutan is a small country, yet it seems to be punching well above its weight. It is the world's first carbon-neutral country. Pity that, given our addiction to technology and bloated lifestyles, we likely think we have nothing to learn from them.

  1. Great video, Lorne. Inspirational. Ralston Saul in his book on globalism points out that it's only the West that measures growth on GDP. Some, such as the Aga Khan, look to quality of life and as you've shown Bhutan looks to happiness.

  2. Keep in mind Bhutan's size and largely preindustrial economy. Not as impressive a feat as you portray it here.
