When it comes to the great issues of our day, none of those three has any vision. Then again look at the roller coaster we went through in 2015. The Libs began the campaign well behind the Tories and the NDP only to climb to first place. The NDP started ahead and then wilted. The Tories bled out. I hope we don't see a repeat of that volatility this year.
3 of the most mediocre political leaders that Canada has ever seen and all 3 desperately want to be the winner in October.Trudeau will say or do anything to get a second term while Scheer and Singh can think of nothing else but being Canada's Prime Minister.
Not one of them is interested in Nation building, nor has given any thought to the kind of country they want Canada to become.It is the job that they want. Being the Prime Minister of Canada brings prestige and power and that is precisely why they want it.
They are opportunists who could care less about the political needs and interests of the Canadian people.
.. we surely see the 'political' end times.. when someone like Sam Oosterhoff not only wins the Ontario provincial 'conservative' nomination for a riding.. but wins the election as well. But we know Alberta elected Rob Anders again and again because.. well uh.. because. We also had prairie boy Stephen Harper and his cabin boy Ray Novak who lived above Harper's garage, fresh outta Western Ontario poli sci.. We saw Christy Clark and a guy named Coleman.. Alison Redford, we got Doug Ford..
Man but the lions must be getting fat and lazy from eating all those fine upstanding 'christians'.. maybe dessert for disenchanted lions will be the plump Andrew Scheer.. hell, we been fattening him up for 10 years & doing his drycleaning, buying diapers for his brood as well, on our dime..
But we're so smart eh !! Our 'procurement' experts found a used Swedish ship.. we are painting a Maple Leaf on it.. so it can supply fresh onions & underwear, rescue our sinking subs, support NATO in the North Sea, deter the Ruskies, or patrol the NorthWest passage for the USA who own it.. and those same 'experts' gonna buy us some F-35's .. so we can wage war too eh ! Hell, we have trouble responding in English Bay or Lake Simcoe.. so F-35's will be a huge help patrolling the Tar Sands tailings ponds..
Please excuse my cynicism.. but I live in a country that elects the likes of Jason Kenney and Doug Ford.. Yes folks.. we could have had Michel Bernier instead of Andrew Scheer.. but for a few retail membership votes.. or bots
