We don't want Egyptian situation. Big demonstrations are becoming a way of life there. Innocent people are being killed. They should give the current govt. a chance.
It seems that the Egyptians have not yet learned the nuances of democracy, LeDaro. Nonetheless, can you imagine how responsive our elected representatives might become to us rather than the corporate agenda if we could become so galvanized?
There is no need for violent demonstrations as in Egypt. However, public should show its displeasure, with Harper Gov. more than it is doing currently. Harper keeps everything under wraps and he is very secretive. Result is public indifference towards politics which is not healthy for a democracy.
