Lorne, when you have time, please check out Driftglass--'The Fox and Grapes' via The Galloping Beaver aggregator. It's about Greenwald, as are a few of his earlier posts.
I just read the post, Linda. Since I do not get Fox (and have no desire to), it provided some very interesting context and interpretation of why Fox would have Greenwald on their show. I had been wondering about that, and driftglass offered a very plausible analysis. I did, however, think that he was being a bit hard on Greenwald himself.
Lorne, if you think he's being hard on Greenwald, you should read his posts on DavidF*ckingBrooks and Andrew Sullivan! I liked his style from the get-go, and agree with most of what he says. All thanks go to The Galloping Beaver!
Driftglass, to me, is a perfect combination of Jymn at 'Let Freedom Reign', Canadian Cynic (when he used to blog, as opposed to tweet) and Ti-guy, a great commenter (know that, wherever you are Ti, you are a hero to many of us, and missed very much). As for the novel 'To Kill a Mockingbird', I didn't read it in school because I didn't finish :(. (I read lots of Twain and Poe growing up though.) My mom was big on movies so that I remember seeing , and so many other classics.
Actually, Linda, Jymn is back to blogging; he calls it Let Freedom Rain 11, but I think he still has the old web address. I hadn't heard of Ti-guy, but will definitely check him out as well. Again, thanks for the tips!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, Linda. I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lorne and let me know what you think.
