the only thing missing was a shot of a free range Bison, or maybe a wild turkey or two.. some idiot with the Maple Leaf as a cape .. that be a nice accent .. or a pickup truck ..
Just add BrylCream Guy - PP 4 PM who Tweets constantly - Every Single Day & you get the next PM .. who’ll just suck n blow for 3 years .. & all your wet dreams will come true .. eh ! (Tinkerbell)
Having seen the real greenwashing commercials, Sal, I have little doubt that some of your suggestions will make their way through some PR company's grand plans for the petroleum industry.
Brlycreem - now that's a concoction I haven't thought of in years. Takes me back to my youth.
Funny how we can appreciate this and then go on to complain about the availability and price of gas. Also pretty sure anybody posting on a computer is about 98% invested in a fossil fuel economy/lifestyle . Subtract everything plastic and anything that came by truck from your life and you are about sweeping a dirt floor with a broken branch and gathering berries and roots for supper. I have been quoted as saying " You will buy the last gallon of gas from Satan if you think it will get your kid to a hospital." Let me add that gas could reach $100 a galleon and tourists with land yachts will still be gassing up.
We really are a species of contradictions, lunta. I also know many who profess concern about global warming and yet drive big trucks or SUVs. And to be brutally honest, this summer my wife and I flew for the first time since Covid to Newfoundland, where our son and daughter-in-law live. Situational ethics abound!
.. Outstanding ! 🦎
ReplyDeleteIt is quite powerful when you think about it, Sal.

Jonathan Swift would approve -- mightily.
ReplyDeleteWe need more people like him and Orwell today, Owen.
