It's hard to watch and listen to Lorne. It's also cringe worthy.I found the number of Conservative who spoke interesting. Do they really think that Canadians will see them as serious contendors to run our country, when their speaking to a crowd of bigots.
So people actually gather together to support each other in there racist, bigoted beliefs.Seems that this was the main point of the meeting.
Bigotry is always low brow. Intellectually the bigots have nowhere to go with it, because being racist against someone for their skin colour or their religion is not based on a foundation of thought. It is based on tribalism and ignorance and is dominated by the emotions of fear, anger and hatred.
I saw some children in the room. I can only imagine the racism they are hearing at home.
I am sometimes amazed that in the 21st century we are still dealing with racists and bigots. Human psychological, intellectual and social development or even just compassion for others seems to have remained dormant in these people.
The suffering to others, that they can cause, is enormous.
I completely agree, Pamela. No matter how they try to conceal it, their bigotry is palpable. Did you notice how one of Ezra's flock, I guess in an unguarded moment, insisted that Mohammed was a pedophile? Such people are clearly unreachable. And I too felt sorry for the kids being made part of this egregious hatred. Oh, and Ezra apparently insists that the woman giving the Nazi salute was being misrepresented by the media. Of course, as we know, only Levant tells the truth, eh?
Ensure the cleaning is thorough, Mound. Subsequent to my gorge rising, having suffered through their painful rendition of "Oh, Canada," my eardrums started to bleed. The doctors tell me that the damage may be permanent.
