"That's not the change I voted for." What a ridiculous campaign ad. First of all, Obama is not imposing any SSM legislation - it's a state jurisdictional decision and it's Romney/Ryan who are trying to amend the Constitution to define marriage as a union between man and woman. Secondly, given the GOP's lack of diversity, it seems odd that they would be targeting more fairly affluent, white families - I guess the loud, ugly print top and lack of make-up is what makes the wife a Democrat :-)
Finally, the production values are laughable. The husband starts off with only one sleeve rolled up but by the end of the ad, both are rolled up.
Well, Beijing, the right wing, as we know only too well in our own country, never lets facts get in the way of a good reactionary propaganda campaign.
I missed the business of the sleeves. Guess I'll steel myself to watch it a second time ;)
Then again, maybe there's a subliminal message there, that the right has to really roll up its sleeves to defeat Obama? Nah, that would require a bit of intelligence.
