With all of the tawdry tales of corruption, tax avoidance and tax evasion going on right now thanks to the Paradise Papers, I feel like lightening the mood a bit. I hope you enjoy these, especially if you have ever been fortunate enough to share companionship with a dog:

DeleteMy beagle was in a state of apoplexy on Sunday. I'm still not sure he's over it. However, in six months time, when the clocks spring forward, he'll be just fine with that.
ReplyDeleteOur dog, who was a noble Landseer Newfoundland, has been gone for many years, but I still remember how exercised he would get when my wife took away his bowls to clean them. He would immediately come to me to let me know what the bad lady had done. I told him I answered to the same bad lady, and there was nothing I could do for him.
