H/t Toronto Star

  1. It does capture the mood that I've found in many of my friends out here. A lot of people are just not interested in traveling to the U.S. of Trump. It's going to have a major impact in my little seaside summer resort town. Already bookings are said to be up 30% from last year and that was a record year thanks largely to European tourists looking for a safer place to get away. It might just be coincidence or unrelated factors but we've also seen a sharp spike in property values.

    1. I suspect that many people will be looking at Canada as a viable alternative to vacations in the U.S., Mound. I think I read the other day somewhere that there are more European inquiries about Canadian tourism since the Trump infection started to spread. Makes sense to me.
