Good to know where the hearts lie, eh? "Canada as 51st State? Four-in-five Americans say a merger should be up to Canadians; 90% of us (Canadians) say ‘no’" https://angusreid.org/canada-51st-state-trump/ The american take is cute but a poll won't stop project 2025. In this fight we are going into, looks like whatever the frontline looks like 1 out of 10 ( 1 in 5 albertans ) will shoot you in the back or at minimum be saboteurs or shrug at the struggle. Tibet (anouther northern resource rich country) with no army fell to China because one official abandoned his post. My guess would be the rich ($) and the clownvoy fringe (guns) are that 10-15%. Big prize for the best betrayal and a lifetime suite at mar- a_ lago. How do we spell espionage? Whinge wayne has claimed his place in history as Governor in the New Trumptopia. Whether T or F, fact or fantasy is yet to be written.
Internationally, it is hard to find an ally, so afraid of Trump are other countries, lungta. Think, for example of Keir Starmer's recent visit with the Orange One. Unfortunately, as you point out, we have a domestic element that cares not a whit for our country, as long as their twisted views have a platform or there is a profit to be taken.
