Even Dogs Have More Self-Control

Today, I was going to post about the rabble stalking Justin Trudeau on the campaign trail. However, I became depressed at the prospect of writing about humanity's dregs. Therefore, because words fail me, I leave you with this story about equally appalling 'human' behaviour and a caution that you use your discretion in watching the accompanying video.

A disgruntled customer at a Dairy Queen in Port Alberni, B.C., took out his frustration over being told to wear a mask by relieving himself in front of staff at the counter.

The incident was captured on camera and appears to show the man urinating on the counter following an altercation with restaurant employees.

In the video, the man can be heard arguing with staff and refusing to wear a mask before he unzips his pants.

Staff can be heard shrieking as the man begins to relieve himself.

The video was recorded by a customer and was shared with CTV News by his friend.

The RCMP say the incident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday.

  1. My oldest kids worked at a DQ and later a TCBY, and had lots of stories of working late at night, after people get wasted and someone gets the bright idea to go for ice-cream. It was seriously dangerous for the kids working there. The second robbery provoked leaving that line of work entirely.

    1. It always both amazes and disheartens me, Marie, when I hear about people being abused by customers. It is but a sad reminder of what lurks beneath civilization's facade.

  2. There's a real backwoods fringe on the island, Lorne. They're the full blown conspiracy theorists, anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers. Real knuckle draggers. Some of them live in camps in the bush just outside of towns. Some are loggers who are simply contrarian.

This clip you posted was recorded by a creep who calls himself "The Unknown Videographer." He has a YouTube channel full of this garbage. A visual testament to the breakdown of civil society.

    1. I can't tell you how disheartened I am by all of this, Mound. It offends me to the core. Those of us who haven't sunk to this level must stand up to these primitive miscreants.

  3. What bothers me, Lorne, is that neither CTV nor the RCMP realized that this wasn't some random DQ customer who happened to video this spectacle. It was a staged event. A quick YouTube search revealed it was the handiwork of "The Unknown Videographer" and all the other stuff he'd posted in the same vein.

Arrest this sordid prick and you'll get the name of the counter front bastard. This is Investigations 101. The cops and, for that matter, CTV have no excuse for screwing this up so badly.
