An Escape From The Kennel

Hopefully, they will be returned to their enclosures post-haste:

The Liberal campaign is confronted by some protestors at a campaign stop in Coburg. They are yelling about freedom and vaccines as Trudeau speaks. There is swearing in this video.

More here as Trudeau’s bus leaves. One woman repeatedly yells about vaccines killing children. Many of the protestors were live streaming the event.

  1. I can't help but think this will not damage Trudeau in the slightest. The anti-vaxxers are a fringe group more commonly considered part of the right. Many Canadians have had their fill of this nonsense. To watch this vulgar spectacle ought to build support for the Liberals and their leader.

    1. Certainly, Mound, the majority will not identify with this rabble. The woman saying Trudeau was killing children (I guess through vaccines) sounded especially unhinged.

  2. I can't understand the rudeness and I can't understand the sheer stupidity. I can understand the anger but it's aimed at a non-issue, a big lie. Where we really need to be angry is at the refusal of Trudeau and most other politicians is their refusal to take real action on climate change. They don't even take real action on long term care or clean water for remote indigenous villages. There is so much to be angry at so why are those people in your videos so angry at a phony target?

    1. It clearly is a waste of energy, Toby. It seems that many people like to deal with specific 'issues' that require a demonstration of some sort, be it in person or through social media, rather than incorporate lifelong changes to their lifestyles, which is demanded by the existential threat posed by climate change. That's why it's been barely talked about in the campaign thus far, in my view.

    1. The quotation is so apt in so many ways today, Owen.
