Don't Agonize. Organize
So says the indefatigable Robert Reich, who, while admitting that the times are very discouraging, urges no one to give up in despair. You need only watch the first three minutes to get the gist of his message:
If I had a lot of money ... or influence, or reputation or the values of my mother, father, grandma and gramps . . . I would put it at the disposal of Greta Thunberg.
So, I know the lottery is a tax on people who do not comprehend math but I am going to start buying a ticket . . . it's a long shot but I reckon those are the odds we are facing. B-]

In these desperate times, James, any aspiration to change the status quo is a worthwhile one.
DeleteI've always enjoyed Reich's commentary, Lorne. He's very smart, a good communicator -- and he never loses his sense of humour.
