Your Saturday Smile
This morning in her column contrasting Justin Trudeau and Stephen Harper, The Star's Heather Mallick offers this hilarious observation:
I am only now recovering from the photo of Harper posing in a red hoodie with Inuit rangers who look normal, even attractive, in a red hoodie, but Harper is playing with what appears to be a duck puppet. Spot the white guy.
'Nuff said.

A picture, Lorne, is worth a thousand words.
ReplyDeleteIt does speak volumes, doesn't it, Owen. Mockery, I suspect, is one of our strongest weapons against the tyrant.
DeleteLorne, Heather Mallick nailed it. That is exactly what I thought when I first saw the picture. I thought it was a puppet and looked for a better picture and then realized that it is a glove.:)
ReplyDeleteLeDaro, I suspect that Harper was quite comfortable wearing puppet-like gloves, given his obsession with manipulating everyone.
DeleteWhen I first saw this photo, I immediately thought of the Benny Hill character Fred Scuttle. He's the one who always saluted awkwardly.
ReplyDeleteA good one, Anon!
