  1. World wide, governments that have had power for at least a couple of election cycles have become incompetent and ineffectual and so the cycle continues!
That we are deflected by the issues of the day by non issues ; but differences of opinion such as gender, religion and others , whilst the reality of AGM goes almost ignored by our consumer centric main street media!
And thus, this expose of government incompetence/ corruption has not received the attention it deserves!
When will we see an investigation by the RCMP?

    1. We often seem possessed by issues that work to the detriment of good government, TB, by distracting us If we cannot or will not hold government to account, we will continue to get the kind of representation that is so common, and so inadequate, today.

  2. in 2014, employees of Veritaaq were making immunity deals while the industry was being investigated for fraudulent activities involving government contracts that went back several years. The IT industry has had its hands in the pockets of Canada's federal government since long before Junior came to town. Last year, when he caught the flack generated by exposure of the McKinsey file, nobody thought it worth mentioning that Harper was the guy who brought Dominic Barton into government. Junior has always been way over his head. God save us from someone who isn't,

    1. While government has often been seen as a source of easy pickings, John, I do feel that Trudeau lacks the capacity to vet the kind of 'services' the private sector provide. As I have said before, Trudeau has never met a private entity he didn't like.

Whenever they get around to talking about it. The investigation' itself, is ongoing.

1.44 The Canada Border Services Agency has launched an investigation into allegations surrounding some employees’ conduct. The investigation was ongoing when we completed our audit. We have also been informed that the agency has referred matters relating to certain employees and contractors to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Because of the nature of the allegations, we did not pursue further audit work around ethics and the Code of Conduct to avoid duplicating or compromising those ongoing processes.

    1. Thanks for the information, Anon. Let's hope that the usual tortoise pace of RCMP investigations speeds up on this one.
