UPDATED: What Is Wrong With People?

It is a question I have asked myself on an almost daily basis these past few years, and it is the question TizzyEnt asks here:

UPDATE: Here is the link to an update posted by TizzyEnt. The only thing that has changed in the video is the location where this atrocity apparently happened.

  1. .. our recent trip to Turks & Caicos.. the complete opposite occurred.. It’s funny but even as it was happening .. I thought it a warm story for you, to be related later .. post departure from Turks & Caicos Islands - trip #8 .. It shows how going with serendipity & happenstance are the wellspring of ‘being Canadian’ .. & the breath of ‘better angels’ per Owen at Northern Reflections ..

If you don’t mind please - refresh me via DM re your email.. I know I have it from years back.. but may be hard to retrieve. I can also DM you.. a short writing.. & glad to.. I also have photos to support the main characters .. My latest ‘catch phrase’ is ‘such fun’ - is there any better activity than ‘such fun’ ? ?

I don’t recall torturing a brave couple .. as ‘such fun’
I always see it as something else.. and the need to step in comes upon me immediately.. that’s all it takes.. I avoid ‘confrontation’ & advise such too.. but that obscenity I’d never see as a problem.. all it takes is an adult with good manners in the room ..

  2. Indeed, Sal, I found myself wondering where the real adults were when this disgraceful event happened. Will DM you my email address. Look forward to hearing from you.

  3. Just read about producer of a cannibal movie having to produce his actors to prove they were not really eaten.
It is Tik Tok. On the web.
    Staged video.
In the land of clicks and likes and views.
Tik Tok posters are the newest millionaires.
    Support that channel.

    1. While so many want the instant fame that social media seems to accord, lungta, this video does not appear to be staged, if that is what you are suggesting. I have followed TizzyEnt on Twitter for some time, and he seems to have a passion for identifying those who misbehave/commit crimes. That being said, I know nothing about the original poster of the video he uses here.

    2. on the other hand
when visiting the land of "drunken assholes"
      expect "drunken assholes"
"what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"
or as the Dali Lama once was asked
"if you are pacifist what would you do if attacked in a dark alley"
      "I wouldn't be in a dark alley"
still the body language of the blurred out faced "old" lady
..just like an actor over reacting as she thinks an old person might react
has me thinking the blonde, izzy and now you got pranked

    3. I shall attempt to follow up with this to see if you are correct, lungta.

    4. I’ve been to Las Vegas once - to document a MultiMedia Conference - can truly testify what happens in Vegas DOES NOT always stay in Vegas

I missed the Dalai Llama reference.. but he’s a very cool cat when answering questions.. ! I saw him in Madison Wisconsin, years back.. at the Kalachakra Initiation. His 1st trip to North America

As for the elderly woman with the man in the ? I see crap like this almost daily in Toronto.. it can be passive, even aggressive or just garden variety Insult .. but in the end it’s just plain INSULT ..

The Question Remains - What is wrong with people ?
Pierre Poilievre insults Canadians DAILY .. via Mainstream & Social Media - so do Jason Kenney & Doug Ford
Perhaps we need to re-evaluate our TOLERANCE ?

    5. Sadly, it seems we are becoming desensitized to the inhumane treatment of others, Anon (Sal?), no doubt thanks in large part to social media and the politicians who exploit it. Pierre Poilievre is a leading 'exemplar' of such exploitation.

  4. Elder bashing. Is it any surprise? This could have been Ontario.
The libertarians have spent the last three or four generations telling everybody it's okay to despise and exploit the weak and weakened. Sometimes I'm thankful that Canada takes in so many newcomers from countries where people are raised and trained to treat others with more respect.

    1. A good point, John. We could surely use some of the traditional values brought over from the "old country".

  5. We could surely use some of the traditional values

    That would truly be disastrous!
Old countries no matter where they are are old because people left them for , hopefully. something new and better.
The Taliban of Afghanistan yearn for the old days just as the US American christian fundamentalists do ( and with success)

FFS , we need control, alt, delete, and start over?

    1. I was thinking more of countries like Japan and Italy, TB, when it comes to respect for elders. However, the suggestion of control, alt, delete does have an alluring quality to it.
