What seems to be missing is the connection between misbehaviour and catching Covid-19. Two or three weeks after these crazy super spreader events we are not seeing the evidence. For all a watcher can tell, the covidiots get away with flaunting the rules. Those who are tracking the disease and the media need to make this abundantly clear.
A good point, Toby. I know that in some states that are seeing startlingly high surges, such as Michigan, young people gathering in large groups without precautions are being blamed, along with the rise of the more contagious variants.
As variants appear they seem to be more transmissible and deadlier. I expect Darwin would have endless fun watching natural selection in real time among the human population. It's sad that so many of the victims aren't the perpetrators.
