Afghan vet Lt Col Vindman said he felt safe going up against Trump because this was America. A good day for the good guys. And for the good woman as well, who stood toe to toe with capt Wafflecock and said, “that’s all you got bitch?” pic.twitter.com/0Paqz6af1Y

If only the other half of America could see what Franklin sees.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be an epidemic of willful blindness these days, Mound.
DeleteI echo Mound's comment, Lorne.The evidence is simply undeniable.
ReplyDeleteP.T. Barnum would no doubt be grimly satisfied that his famous observation is still proving true, even in the 21st Century, Owen.
DeleteAs surreal as the Donald phenomenon appears from the outside, apparently it is just as weird from the inside. I happened across a review of “A Warning,” by “Anonymous, a Senior Trump Administration Official.” An excerpt follows to illustrate the point:
ReplyDeleteStart excerpt ->
Trump also, Anonymous writes, regularly urges that the law be broken or ignored, and discussions of potentially criminal acts are so routinized that “we can tell when Trump is preparing to ask his lawyers to do something unethical or foolish because that’s when he starts scanning the room for note takers”:
“What the fuck are you doing?” he shouted at an aide who was scribbling in a notebook during a meeting . . . The room went silent. The aide seemed confused about what was wrong.
“Are you fucking taking notes?” Trump continued, glaring.
“Uhh...sorry,” the aide said, quietly closing the notebook and sitting up straighter in the chair.
His paranoia is the best evidence of a guilty conscience.
<- End.

Thanks, James. The evidence is strong that Trump is little better than a Mafia don. He is learning, however, that omerta is not the code many will live and die by.
