UPDATED: A Member Of The Rabid Harper Base Foams At The Mouth

The following occurred this morning, at a Harper rally in Etobicoke:

You can read about it here.

A persistent Terry Milewski was met by the same crowd lustily urging that the government "shut down the CBC."

Two more reasons not to live in one of Toronto's suburbs.

  1. What was Terry Milewski asking about a Governor General Decision??

    1. I wonder if it had to do with a scenario whereby the Harper government gets a minority government but the two opposition parties want to form a coalition government, Kirby, and request that of the Governor General..

    2. .. yes, what was Milewski's attempted question? The confused angry Harper Base guy isn't Harper's younger brother?

    3. I suspect they are brothers in spirit, Salamander. Probably also a good alter ego for the Stephen who has to show a measure of restraint when on the campaign trail.

  2. Lorne, this Terry Milewski guy comes across totally crazy. I hope voters pay attention.

Harper has really screwed up CBC. It is sad. Harper rule must end.

    1. A sane voice among the Harper base must be rare indeed, LD.

  3. Stephen Harper doesn't lead a party, he leads a cult. And this guy that accused reporters of being "lying pieces of $hit" and apparently thinks it's normal to cheat on one's taxes, was a vetted, screened supporter of the Conservative Party. Seems to me, Mr. "We're more truthful than news" Teneycke, this is a logical endpoint of the Conservative Party's behaviour and attitudes, and represents the Conservative Party perfectly.

  5. Rabid, greedy and dangerous old, white men.
Everyone: we have 10ish weeks to talk to our fathers, uncles, brothers and peers in this demographic. We must convince them that the future of Canada depends on them making a good choice Oct 19.

    1. Let's us hope at least some of them are open to reason, Anon, and not ruled by the reflexive passions evident in the above video.
