Lorne, yes it is a great display of human spirit. I hope and pray that this violence stops. It is helping no one.
I am with you in that hope, LeDaro, but I suspect that as long as human beings exist, there will be that violent side. But I also firmly believe, to borrow from Abraham Lincoln, that it will never vanquish "the better angels of our nature."
