In Trumpworld, Refraining From Violence Is 'Political Correctness'

Watch as Rachel Maddow traces the evolution of violence in the Trump campaign, aided, abetted and encouraged by the demagogue himself:

  1. Who didn't blame Trump for that mess last night? They make it sound like Trump ordered the protesters to be there.
Trump supporters had every right to hear him speak last night.I smell the lowlife stench of agents provocateurs here and possibly at his other rally's as well. You don't see Trump sending people to disrupt other candidates rally's.
So let's have a look at some of the people there last night. That guy on the stage acting like a maniac is known and former Weather Underground activist Bill Ayers was there.

Late last year, protesters disrupted a Virginia rally - clashing with supporters, chanting “Dump Trump. Campaign events in Miami, Dallas, Massachusetts, Ohio, Alabama and elsewhere were turbulent.
But yet he keeps winning.Someone is very afraid of Trump and it's not that bunch of misfits in Chicago last nite.I doubt many of them could spell democracy.

    1. The problem as I see it, Anon, is that when, as Trump has clearly stated, protesters are seen as 'ruining America,' it suggests that they are somehow acting illegally or undemocratically. Nothing could be further from the truth unless democracy is being redefined as uniformity of opinion. History tells us that kind of expectation goes by another name.

  3. Thanks for posting this video Lorne. It is glaringly obvious, that Trump is consciously manipulating his supporters. What Trumps supporters don't see or more precisely don't hear is the sheer contempt Trump has for them. Only by hearing it in chronological order, can one see the manipulation behind Trumps message to do violence. Americans may find themselves in the same dilemma Canadians were in. that being getting out to vote to Stop Harper. They may have to get out to vote just to Stop Trump. If not, there maybe enough of his racist, ignorant supporters to carry him to the White House.

    1. I think your solution is the only one possible at this point, Pamela. if Americans truly care about the reputation and fate of their country, they will turn out in sufficient numbers to ensure that Trump does not prevail. It is difficult to know, however, whether the demons he has released will be exorcised or subdued post-election.

  4. I read an analysis today that found Trump speaks at a grade 4 level. It's the frequency that best resonates with his crowds. One or two syllable words, the most common is "I" and the fourth most used word is "Trump." Amazing.

    1. As well, Trump's repetition of mindless platitudes speaks volumes about his intended audience, Mound.
