I share your sentiment. However I am disturbed by the lack of pro Canada enthusiasm in my area . The lack of flags is the most apparent . I think the flag was denigrated by the covid ,trucker mask crowd to a point where it lost it's status as a symbol of pride. I have been wearing a Canada is not for sale ball cap for some days now and have not had a iota of support. Apathy is setting in? TB
I hope that things pick up in your area, TB. I was at the grocery store this morning and was heartened to hear a woman explaining her purchase to her elderly mother. She said that she was buying a Canadian product instead of her usual American purchase. I complimented her on her stance. As well, I was listening to a CBC radio phone-in at noon, and the number of people cancelling their U.S. vacations was impressive. One woman, who owns a home in Dunn Eden and has vacationed there for the past nine years, said she and her husband decided to sell their property when it seemed clear that Trump was going to win the election. She also said many of her snowbird friends are following suit.
:) me likey Took them Canuck politicians long enough to realize his nibs really wants to cash us out in the alley. Now wonder how long they will try to find the tune he wants us to dance to before they realize you can't negotiate with cray-cray. Think every movie villain ever has a scene where just before someone's end they plead " But you said that if I just .... you would/wouldn't ....."
Truly, there is no appeasing this mad tyrant, lungta. We have to gird ourselves for a long battle, and we absolutely must diversify our trading partners immediately.
