I've been complaining for four years about interviewers not fact-checking Trump to his face.

In the past few weeks, we've gotten some good evidence that this is not only necessary in principle, it actually works. My video this week: https://t.co/VJdortztoR pic.twitter.com/SFMDWdiPyZ
Pointing out Trump et als lies seems to becoming more common . Maybe US reporters are fed up with being used to spread Trump's falsehoods . Hopefully fact checking will grow expadentialy before the election. Thanks Daniel, you may be winning a long lonely contest.
ReplyDeleteI miss the fact that Dale in no longer working at the Toronto Star, rumleyfips. His work there was always stellar, but I guess now that he has a wider audience, his efforts will bear larger fruit.
DeleteDale was an excellent journalist when he lived north of the border. He has not changed.
ReplyDeleteTruly one of our national treasures, Owen.
