Robert Reich simply and brilliantly deconstructs Trump's construction plans. Lest Canadians feel tempted toward complacency, check out Trudeau's infrastructure bank plans, which will likely have the same effect of enriching corporate investors at our collective expense.
He's great in the classroom. High-school kids have been able to get their heads around some complex issues because of his videos.
ReplyDeleteA great communicator, his ideas should resonate widely, Marie.
DeleteBesides being very bright, Lorne, Reich is a superb teacher. In the film "Inequality for All," there are scenes of Reich in a large lecture hall at Berkeley. It's a pleasure to watch him work.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the film and agree completely, Owen.
DeleteIt takes an uninformed, distracted and indifferent public to allow these schemes to be launched. These plain and powerful points receive no audience today. It's up to people like Reich to show the truth but how many Americans is he reaching?
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, it sounds much akin to Trudeau's initiative.
The audience reach of alternative media is always an open question, Mound. I guess the only thing to do is plod on, doing one's best to stem the storm of ignorance.
