I stopped shopping at WalMart about 20-years ago when I realized it was just a place where blue-collar workers went to shop themselves out of their own jobs. I haven't been back since.
I have a good friend, Mound, who thinks that one of the key reasons the wage-oppressed in this country don't rise up in dissatisfaction is that the cheap goods we import from China are generally affordable and keep them narcotized. Walmart is indeed a bit part of that process.
