Is Oil Our Economic Salvation?

Interesting, isn't it, that despite the propaganda coming out of both Alberta and the Prime Minister's Office about oil being the economic engine and saviour of Canada, that our Western friends are finding themselves experiencing some economic malaise?

  1. BC has been in a malaise, for over a decade now. Ex BC Liberal Premier Gordon Campbell, pretty much thieved and sold all of BC's assets and resources. Christy Clark is finishing selling off, what is left of BC. Nor, do we forget Harper's part in the destruction of BC. Harper forgot to tell the BC citizens, Campbell worked for him, and still does. Campbell also lied, deceived and cheated to win, just as his good buddy Harper did. Harper was drooling at the mouth for BC's HST, so they forced the illegal tax on the citizens. Harper rewarded Campbell, the post of High Commissioner to England, for doing his dirty work for him.

Canada has become a cesspool of corruption. Never have we ever seen such evil in Canada, as there is to-day.

In Canada crime does pay, especially if you are a politician. We all see Harper's dirty tactics and dirty politics, lies, deceit, and cheating to win, with the robo-call cheat.

Seems Quebec may be separating from Canada. The province and the people, want nothing to do with Harper nor Ottawa. Yesteryear, we would have been upset by that. To-day no-one seems to mind.

Millions of Canadians feel, this country is no longer Canada anymore anyhow. We pretty much were warned, we would be kissing this country good-bye, because of Harper. Perhaps there will be more provinces, wanting to get away from Harper and Ottawa too.

  2. One of the most insidious accomplishments of Harper, in my view, is that he has sown the seeds of discord and despair amongst Canadians, convincing so many that the concept of Canada, a country where the principle of concern for the collective trumps the greed of the individual, is no longer viable.

For this, I can never forgive him.
