The Fraser Institute is a blight on my province. Early on it was a sometimes reasoned voice for the conservative side but it has morphed into the American model that we see in the Heritage Institute and American Enterprise Institute. It is no longer bound by facts. It freely substitutes spin for facts wherever that suits its mission. It's a disgrace.
It is getting hard now to remember a time when one could have reasoned disagreements, Mound, without the bluster and ranting. But of course, in earlier days philosophical differences were often supported with evidence, not empty ideological cant.
