You know...The smoking gun is actually the Clintons. You know how Mulroney got nailed collecting on a $300k promissory bribe from Airbus Group? The Clintons figured out a better way: get paid in speaking fees, consulting fees and token board positions.

They eventually got tired of waiting to get paid (post public service) and invented the Clinton Foundation for direct bribe-to-bank-account 'democratic innovation.' Hillary even set up a private email server to do bribe-related SoS biz. The hard drives containing the 33k bribe-related emails were data-shredded. An FBI team of specialists couldn't recover with electron microscopes. (Not: oops, hit delete!)

So the only fiscal explanation for the sale of Hydro One that makes any sense is that Kathleen Wynne received a pretty tasty promissory bribe for putting this real tasty rent-seeking revenue stream out into the universe. (She might even want to get trounced in 2018 so she can start collecting.)

The US progressive news media like The Young Turks and Secular Talk (on YouTube) have done a million videos on various examples of the Clintons and other politicians being on the take. There are other journalistic and academic pieces connecting the pay-to-play dots. The evidence is staggering.

The Clintons may have invented the perfect bribe. But they are too clever by half. It's painfully obvious they are getting paid for nothing (e.g., $250 speeches) which must mean they are getting paid for something. So it's only a matter of time before all of this is exposed and they are rightfully convicted, beyond a shadow of a doubt, in the court of public opinion. (Legally they probably airtight: they are very ambitious lawyers after all and know their way around the law.)

History will savage people like Wynne and the Clintons. But unless we return to the progressive New Deal era and put a stop to this rampant corruption in the government, the business community and the media, history's days are numbered.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7884128379999766348.post-33599515464054214142016-08-20T19:52:06.105-04:002016-08-20T19:52:06.105-04:00I completely agree, Pamela. She went ahead and did it anyway. We should have something in place that prevents political leaders from doing what they want without Canadians consent.

It just amazes me how our government both federally and provincially will sign deals, create legislation or create policy that flies in the face of what Canadians want. The sheer arrogance of not consulting Canadians such as is the case of Wynne selling a percentage of Hydro One denotes real contempt for the people of Ontario.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07842215982128591742noreply@blogger.com
