We have a long way to go before we can declare our democracy a success.Lornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741324981120408977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7884128379999766348.post-73753715044800535722016-01-31T17:50:07.326-05:002016-01-31T17:50:07.326-05:00There is no way Lorne, that Freeland does not know...There is no way Lorne, that Freeland does not know about the darkside of the TPP. She also knows the deal is not about trade, but is in fact a Neoliberal tool that will especially benefit the US .She is a very intelligent and knowledgeable woman. This leads me to ask, what would motivate Freeland including her advice to Trudeau, to proceed with ratifying this deal, when she knows that to do so is in fact to destroy Canadian Sovereignty? The fact that we have to stand by, crossing our fingers in the hopes that the government will not ratify this deal, tells me that Canadians still do not have control of our government! It's decision should come from Canadians , not from the government. We should not have to wait with bated breath and hope that our government makes the right decision. There is something very wrong with this picture!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07842215982128591742noreply@blogger.com
