Part Political Theatre and Part Schoolyard Bully

And probably the saddest thing is that far too many people take this kind of clown seriously:

  1. .. I had reason to refresh my facts re Alex Jones, late last night. Yes, there he was.. with a guest named Donald Trump. Trump of course a big fan. But I was reviewing the plight of Sandy Hook parents who's children or teacher was murdered.. massacred actually.

Alex Jones is an ardent Sandy Hook denier & defender of the leading & most frightening 'hoaxers'.. of course he holds similar very loud views of 9/11 and the Oklahoma bombing. Dead & murdered innocents are his specialty it seems.. but the vile skew and spew he emits is stimulating dangerous and mentally disturbed attacks upon those who survived such tragedy or lost precious family members.

If there really is a hell, Alex Jones is finding his way there. Not by clowning or bullying.. but some sort of dreaded snapping point inside his head. He is succeeding at finding the complete & opposite end point of an exemplar.. he's a disgusting human being.

By the way, be on the lookout for Maxime Bernier's email to a Canadian man.. crowing about his proposed repeals of AR-15 restrictions.. the very same weapon used at Sandy Hook. Bernier is pimping for removal of all restrictions on automatic fire capacity.. and worse. Why a farmer, rancher or sport shooter needs 20 round per second rate of fire is beyond me.. but perhaps Maxime can explain

    1. It is a source of real disgust for me and I am sure many, many others that public discourse can be so contaminated by the likes of Alex Jones and his fellow travellers. The Wild West that American media embrace does no one any credit.

Thanks for the tip about libertarian Bernier. I shall be vigilant, Salamander.

  2. It speaks volumes about a society in which someone this odious and unhinged can both prosper and have the ear of a president. There is a considerable segment of the American population willing to listen to this, even enjoying it. Why does my mind always flash back to the final years of Weimar?

    1. It seems that now days, Mound, one can get a pretty good picture of a society's health by the kind of media that commands its attention. By that measure, America is one sick puppy.
