UPDATED: Unfiltered Hatred

I don't feel completely right posting this video in which a hatred-spewing 'Christian' pastor, Stephen L. Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church, offers his evaluation of the Orlando massacre. However, we cannot turn away from such evil ranters; their malignity only grows if left unchallenged and not held to account.

I will warn you, though. It is not easy listening to such obscenity:

UPDATE: Anderson's hateful screed, I see, has been taken down by for violating YouTube's policy on hate speech. If you want to read some of what this despicable pastor said, you can do so here.

  2. .. just another asshat with some very bad chips installed in his decayed brain. I'm sure he makes a great living from praying out loud & preying on the ignorant. Its a marvel that a tolerant society allows disturbed frightening zeolots of his type to utter such poisonous froth in public. Deary me, can he not just whip his frothy madness out in a misbegotten church for idiots? Perhaps its a sort of rabies or blood disorder? A paranoia? Fear of reality? Obsessive Compulsion with comorbid fantasy & self adulation? In any rural church where I grew up.. farm country.. this creature would have chased politely away & warned never to return. Those people could think for themselves & their perception of godliness had boundaries, balance and values rooted in the soil.

    1. I wonder if that's why some of these creatures have to take to YouTube to deliver their venom. Maybe, or hopefully, the congregants saw him for what he is and turned away, Salamander.

    2. Lorne, these people go YouTube because they know it's a way to tap into a rich vein of their like-minded. They're mining it for all it's worth and that's a lot. We've become a civilization unduly accommodating to the radical, the extreme. We've allowed them their niche and they're building on that.

  3. Well, I didn't get to check out the Youtube vid but, most of these guys don't have a clue what they're ranting about.

To keep my post short, which Bible are they using? Translated into English? (All translation is commentary.) And, the "Old Testament" is merely Preface for Christians to understand the "New Testament".

    1. It's telling, I think, UU4077, that these people rarely talk about God's love, as expressed in the New Testament. They seem to much prefer the wrathful and vindictive Yahweh of the Old Testament. Guess he fits in better with their messages of hatred and exclusion.
