If you want more Christmas spirit, pleade enjoy this special delivery Santa had for Julian Fantino, who, it seems, was a naughty boy this year:

  1. Been very busy the past many months and haven't read and commented as much as I have in the past. Thank you Lorne for keeping up the great work here. Best wishes to you and yours for the holidays and New Year.

  2. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours too. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to share your thoughts, and allowing us to share ours too.

I had a very good laugh reading that Dear Leader had asked Canadians to pray for the troops. Yep, the troops would need all those prayers as they must have seen how quickly Dear Leader dove into the closet when the bullets were flying. Unlike Dear Leader, the troops do not have closets to dive into when the bullets are flying.

To add insult to injury, Dear Leader then emerged from the closet to claim that Canadians were not intimidated. Then he even claimed that his dive, viewed as cowardice by a segment of Canadians, only came about because he had been trained to do so by security.

Sometimes I do wonder if those people who claim that this fellow is a pathological liar are not correct, eh?

    1. Thanks you, anon, and the same to you. Regarding the tainted one's Christmas address, as with his fireside chat with the most reverent Mansbridge, I was unable to watch. Thank you for your report about his 'warm' message; one hopes that in his post-political life, he will discover what it means to be human.

  3. hi Lorne...Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours!!! I enjoy your blog and your obviously kind heart a lot. Keep up the good fight, and hopefully by next Christmas we will have had one of the biggest celebrations this country has ever known. The Harper regime will have fallen and the church bells will be ringing from coast to coast to coast...

    1. Thanks very much, Simon, and the same to you. Your indefatigable efforts are much appreciated, and I join with you in the hope that great change will be upon the country next year. As Ulysses says in Tennyson's poem, "Come, my friends, / 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world".
